Film to DVD
It's well known cine film is made of images called frames. When played in succession these images give the illusion of movement - movies!
Traditional transfer methods vary, most involve projection and re-filming.
Some methods are better than others but none can compare to scanning each individual frame into a digital system.
Our film scanners, built in the USA, are used in the US television & DVD industries as well as film societies and archival libraries. The Royal New Zealand Navy Museum chose Bring It On Studios to digitise their 16mm film library and we've scanned multiple films for The Auckland Museum and for use in national television programs.
Film chemicals break down with age and fade away. You can save your memories with digital scanning. We restore films to their best potential using colour restoration tools in our commercial DVD authoring suite. Transfers are encoded with CINEMA CRAFT® encoders, industry benchmark for Hollywood DVD output. You can mix film, video, slides and photographs on the same DVD for a complete collection and all film transfers are covered by our Lifetime Promise.

However it should be noted quality of DVD video and CD audio is entirely dependant on the quality of the original source.
